Subscription Terms

As an existing Refundid customer you are able to use the Refundid platform.  The terms of use are set out in Refundid's user terms and conditions (Customer T&Cs).

As a valued customer, Refundid is pleased to also offer you some further optional service features. You can choose to purchase access to these features on a subscription basis (Subscription).  

These terms (the Subscription Terms) apply to your purchase and use of the Subscription.

1 Meaning of terms

All capitalised terms used in these Subscription Terms have the meaning given to those terms in the Customer T&Cs, unless indicated otherwise.

2 What rights does the Subscription give you?

The Subscription will provide you with the following benefits:

(a) Extended time for return of products

Under the Customer T&Cs, you have a fixed period (measured from when you receive the Loan Amount) during which you must send the product to the retailer.

If you purchase the Subscription, then during the term of the Subscription, you will be given an extra 3 days (still measured from when you receive the Loan Amount) to send the product to the retailer.

(b) No charge access to shipping coverage

The Refundid Platform allows you to purchase coverage for products when you ship them back to the retailer (Return Coverage). Clause 9 of the Customer T&Cs notes that:

(i) this Return Coverage is provided to you by a third party, and is provided under the terms specified by that third party; and

(ii) you will be required to pay for the Return Coverage, and Refundid will collect any such payments as agent for the third party provider.

If you purchase the Subscription, these charges will not apply during the term of the Subscription.

(c) No additional charges for some types of product rejection

Under the Customer T&C's additional charges are payable by you if:

(i) a retailer rejects your return because you failed to follow its Product Returns Policy; and/or

(ii) you make a mistake in relation to a product return (such as returning the incorrect item or if you make a mistake in entering required details into the Refundid Platform).

If you purchase the Subscription, these charges will not apply during the term of the Subscription.

(d) No charge for carbon offset shipping

The Refundid Platform may allow you to purchase carbon offset shipping when you ship your products back to the retailer. Clause 9 of the Customer T&Cs requires additional payment if you purchase carbon offset shipping.

If you purchase the Subscription, these charges will not apply during the term of the Subscription.

3 Subscription Charges

(a) If you purchase the Subscription, you must pay Refundid the applicable subscription charges (Subscription Charges). The Subscription Charges:

(i) are as specified by Refundid at the point of signing up to the Subscription;

(ii) will be regarded as "Charges" under the Customer T&Cs; and

(iii) may be subject to change in accordance with the Customer T&Cs.

(b) Refundid will deduct the Subscription Charges from your nominated account and will do so:

(i) where you have elected to purchase a monthly Subscription, [on or about the start of each month during the term of the Subscription]; or

(ii) where you have elected to purchase an annual Subscription, [on or about the start of each year during the term of the Subscription].

4 Subscription term and termination

(a) If you purchase a Subscription, it will commence on the date you accept these Subscription Terms.  The Subscription will operate for the applicable subscription period (monthly or annually (as selected by you).  On expiry of that period the Subscription will renew and continue to renew unless withdrawn by Refundid or terminated by you as set out below.  

(b) Where you have purchased an annual Subscription then you may terminate your Subscription at the end of any annual subscription period by notifying Refundid. At least 14 days prior to the end of an annual Subscription period, Refundid will contact you to remind you that the Subscription will renew on the applicable end date unless you notify Refundid prior to the date of renewal that you wish to terminate it. Unless you notify Refundid of termination before the renewal date, the Subscription will renew for a further annual Subscription period.

(c) Where you have purchased a monthly Subscription, then you may terminate the Subscription at the end of any monthly Subscription period by notifying Refundid. Unless you notify Refundid of termination before the renewal date, the monthly Subscription will renew at the end of each month.

(d) The Subscription will terminate immediately if your agreement with Refundid under the Customer T&Cs expires or is terminated for any reason.

(e) Termination of your Subscription will not end your agreement with Refundid under the Customer T&Cs. If you wish to terminate the Agreement you will need to do so in accordance with the Customer T&Cs.

5 Application of Customer T&Cs and Subscription Terms

Except as otherwise provided by these Subscription Terms, the Customer T&Cs will continue to apply as stated.
