2020
The beginning

Founded in Sydney

Four founders, Brad Karney, Judd Katz, Joel Aaron and Ilan Kessler, start Refundid after living the pain of slow refunds firsthand. The mission: eliminate the wait.

2021
Launch

Instant refunds go live

The product launches in February, putting refunds in shoppers' accounts in as little as 30 seconds. The first national retailers sign on within weeks.

2021
Fundraising round

$3M led by AP Ventures

Just six months after launch, Refundid raises $3M in a round three-times oversubscribed and led by Afterpay-backed AP Ventures. E-commerce veteran Paul Greenberg joins the advisory board.

2022
Fundraising round

Seed round led by Salesforce Ventures

A landmark raise led by Salesforce Ventures brings total funding to around $15M, fuel to build out the team, the tech and the next phase of growth.

More than instant refunds

Refundid evolves into a complete returns platform, adding exchanges, store credit, standard returns, carrier labels and analytics, with deep integrations across Shopify and beyond.
